Note on the issue of external links

The GMDS is a content provider according to § 7 Abs.1 In accordance with the German Telemedia Act, the provider is responsible for its “own content” that it makes available for use in accordance with general legislation. These own contents are to be distinguished from cross-references (“links”) to contents provided by other providers. Through the cross-reference, the GMDS makes “third-party content” available for use, which is identified in this way:

Links” are always “living” (dynamic) references. The GMDS has checked the external content for possible civil or criminal liability when the link was first established. However, GMDS does not constantly check the content to which it refers on its website for changes that could give rise to new liability. If it determines or is informed by others that a specific offer to which it has provided a link triggers civil or criminal liability, it will remove the reference to this offer.

Should you discover questionable or illegal content on the pages of this website or on those to which reference is made, the GMDS would be grateful if you would inform us accordingly.

Availability of the website

GMDS will endeavor to offer the service for retrieval with as few interruptions as possible. However, even with all due care, downtimes cannot be ruled out. GMDS reserves the right to change or discontinue its services at any time. We cannot accept any liability for interruptions or other disruptions caused by files that have not been created correctly or formats that have not been structured correctly.

Dispute resolution procedure

The European Commission provides a platform for out-of-court online dispute resolution (ODR platform), which can be accessed at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in the dispute resolution procedure.
