Abstract

I will offer a full-day course for the statistical programming language R. The course is structured into two distinct parts to accommodate varying skill levels and interests.

Morning Session: Fundamentals of R
This session will provide a comprehensive overview of the foundational concepts of R. Essential topics such as data types, structures, and basic syntax will be covered, ensuring participants gain a solid understanding of the fundamental principles underpinning R.
For the first part, no programming skills are expected.

Afternoon Session: Advanced Topics
In the afternoon, more advanced topics will be explored to expand your R programming skills. Highlights include modern visualization techniques using ggplot, advanced data manipulation with dplyr and data.table, and automatic reporting using RMarkdown.

Course Format
The course structure combines presentations with practical exercises: Participants will have the opportunity to test newly acquired knowledge in small tasks to reinforce their understanding of key concepts.
